Base Salary
$133k - $183k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own, improve, and maintain integration and end-to-end test automation frameworks and their CI pipelines.
- Design and implement solutions to reduce test execution time and improve test stability.
- Write technical specifications and ADRs, contribute to solution design, and collaborate with engineers across the company.
- Support engineering teams with triage requests and best practices for quality assurance and test automation.
- Contribute to the evolution of Affirm’s overall test strategy.
- Break larger projects into tasks, deliver work in phases, and collaborate to ensure timely delivery.
- Participate in an on-call rotation.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in test automation.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and Python.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright and Pytest.
- Experience building and optimizing CI pipelines.
- Experience with Docker and AWS.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance, test design, and testing techniques and methodologies.
- Experience building or enhancing test automation frameworks and infrastructure is highly desirable.
- Mobile, infrastructure, and performance test automation experience is an advantage.
- Candidates should reside in an eligible Canadian province, with an East Coast location preferred for collaboration with Europe.
- Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills, including asynchronous communication through technical specifications, RFCs, wikis, and project plans.
- Ability to develop clear, well-tested, extensible solutions spanning multiple software components.
