Responsibilities
- Create, design, deploy, maintain, and support applications, programs, and software solutions.
- Develop SQL queries and PL/SQL scripts using Oracle or cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake.
- Optimize and performance-tune data processing workflows.
- Work with Oracle, Snowflake, data hubs, and data quality capabilities.
- Collaborate with product management, application development, DevOps, and other technical groups.
- Participate in design discussions and understand end-to-end application functionality.
- Schedule jobs using Autosys or similar tools and work with development and DevOps tooling.
- Own assigned tasks through completion while working with geographically distributed teams.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle, Snowflake, data hubs, and data quality.
- Experience developing SQL queries and PL/SQL scripts.
- Experience with Java, Python, or shell scripting is desired as a secondary skill.
- Strong understanding of cloud warehouse architecture and AWS or a similar cloud platform.
- Knowledge of data warehouse principles, including star schema, slowly changing dimensions, and facts, is desired.
- Familiarity with Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, Fortify, and related development tooling.
- Experience with Autosys or similar job-scheduling tools.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, attention-to-detail, teamwork, and self-motivation skills.
