Base Salary

$233k - $320k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and operate an enterprise AI Harness for secure, scalable, and governable AI-assisted software development.
  • Develop context-engineering frameworks covering information acquisition, interpretation, retrieval, composition, and lifecycle management.
  • Architect context-management services for knowledge ingestion, context assembly, retrieval, metadata, and governance.
  • Design agent-memory frameworks spanning short-term, long-term, session-based, and persistent memory.
  • Build shared services, reusable frameworks, developer tooling, and platform integrations for consistent agent adoption.
  • Partner with security, cybersecurity, architecture, product, and infrastructure teams on enterprise security and compliance.
  • Optimize relevance scoring, retrieval quality, context-window efficiency, token usage, and knowledge effectiveness.
  • Define standards for knowledge structures, metadata, content organization, accessibility, and information quality.
  • Drive observability, evaluation, performance measurement, reliability, experimentation, and continuous improvement across the AI harness ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, distributed systems, or related technical leadership roles.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development, LLMs, agentic systems, RAG architectures, vector databases, knowledge systems, and enterprise AI platforms.
  • Deep knowledge of context construction, retrieval strategies, context composition, context lifecycle management, and prompt orchestration.
  • Experience building platforms, frameworks, or services for knowledge retrieval, agent memory, context assembly, or AI workflow orchestration at scale.
  • Strong understanding of embeddings, vector search, retrieval pipelines, memory architectures, agent orchestration, and tool integration patterns.
  • Ability to define architectures and frameworks and deliver practical solutions for ambiguous problems.
  • Experience collaborating with engineering, architecture, product, security, and infrastructure stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for translating complex AI concepts into technical guidance.
  • Preferred experience with GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf/Codeium, OpenAI, Anthropic, or equivalent tools.
  • Preferred experience with context-engineering frameworks, retrieval systems, knowledge graphs, semantic search, vector databases, memory-centric agent architectures, MCP, multi-agent systems, workflow orchestration, evaluation frameworks, and enterprise AI governance.
  • Preferred background in developer experience, platform engineering, internal developer tooling, enterprise AI enablement, or large enterprise environments with compliance and security controls.
