Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end solution architecture across Salesforce clouds and adjacent systems, ensuring scalability, maintainability, performance, and security.
- Define technical governance, coding standards, design patterns, review gates, and architectural decision documentation.
- Produce solution blueprints, integration architectures, data models, security models, diagrams, and decision logs.
- Review requirements, security and sharing architecture, integration patterns, data architecture, migration strategy, and data quality controls.
- Lead technical workshops and design sessions and translate requirements into architectural designs and technical specifications.
- Guide development, integration, and data teams through build, testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Oversee release strategy, environment management, SFDX, branching, pipelines, CI/CD, and quality gates.
- Advise stakeholders on platform roadmaps, enterprise architecture alignment, technical trade-offs, risks, and dependencies.
- Coach team leads, senior developers, and consultants and contribute to playbooks, accelerators, reusable assets, and knowledge-sharing forums.
- Support proposals and account growth through solution approaches, effort sizing, delivery plans, risk registers, demos, and architectural points of view.
Requirements
- 10+ years of enterprise software delivery experience and 8+ years of Salesforce project experience across presales and implementation of medium to large-scale projects.
- Salesforce Architect certifications such as System Architect or Application Architect.
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce platform architecture, multi-cloud solutioning, security and sharing, data modeling, Apex/LWC patterns, performance, and scalability.
- Strong understanding of DevOps, release management, SFDX, source-driven development, pipelines, quality gates, and integration architecture including MuleSoft/API-led, batch, SFTP, and event-driven approaches.
- Solid software engineering fundamentals including object-oriented design, design patterns, relational and NoSQL systems, and testing strategies.
- Strong communication, facilitation, executive communication, technical writing, and multidisciplinary team leadership skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred qualifications include IT services or consulting experience, additional Salesforce certifications, MuleSoft certification or equivalent integration experience, TOGAF or cloud certifications, hands-on Apex/Java/LWC/JavaScript/HTML/CSS experience, and public-sector or regulated-environment experience.
