Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end solution architecture across Salesforce clouds and adjacent systems, ensuring scalability, maintainability, performance, and security.
- Define technical governance, coding standards, design patterns, review gates, and architectural artifacts including solution blueprints, integration architecture, data models, and security models.
- Review business requirements, solution mappings, security and sharing architecture, integration patterns, data architecture, migration strategies, and data quality controls.
- Lead technical workshops and design sessions and guide development, integration, data, testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization teams.
- Oversee release strategy and environment management, including sandboxes, pipelines, branching, SFDX, CI/CD, and quality gates.
- Advise business and technology stakeholders on platform roadmaps, enterprise architecture alignment, trade-offs, risks, and dependencies.
- Coach team leads, senior developers, and consultants while contributing to playbooks, reusable assets, knowledge sharing, skills development, and resourcing considerations.
- Shape presales solution approaches, effort sizing, delivery plans, risk registers, architectural points of view, demonstrations, and technology recommendations.
Requirements
- 10+ years of enterprise software delivery experience and 8+ years of Salesforce project experience across presales and medium- to large-scale implementations.
- Salesforce Architect certifications such as System Architect or Application Architect.
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce multi-cloud architecture, security and sharing, data modeling, Apex and LWC patterns, performance, and scalability.
- Strong understanding of DevOps, release management, SFDX, source-driven development, pipelines, quality gates, and integration architecture including MuleSoft/API-led, batch, SFTP, and event-driven patterns.
- Solid software engineering fundamentals including object-oriented design, design patterns, relational and NoSQL systems, and testing strategies.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders, facilitate workshops, communicate with executives, and produce technical documentation and proposals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred qualifications include IT services or consulting experience, additional Salesforce or MuleSoft certifications, enterprise architecture or cloud certifications, hands-on Apex/Java/LWC/JavaScript/HTML/CSS experience, and public-sector or regulated-environment experience.
