Responsibilities

Be a subject matter expert for the Bloomreach Discovery platform for both technical and business audiences.
Own all technical elements for Discovery sales cycle, from scoping to hands-on setup and validation.
Lead technical discovery and solution design, mapping requirements and documenting high-level architecture.
Design and validate data flows for Discovery, including catalog ingestion and API usage patterns.
Partner with Solution Consultants to create tailored demos that align with customer KPIs.
Co-scope with agency/SI partners during presales to ensure a clean handover to delivery teams.
Drive excellent handoffs by packaging HLDs and risk/assumption logs for Services.
Contribute reusable assets to speed future evaluations and mentor SCs on technical components.
Support RFP/RFI/security questionnaires and handle technical objections.
Stay current on product capabilities and channel feedback into best practices.

Has a BS in Information Systems / Computer Science, or equivalent degree.
Has 3+ years of Commerce experience as a system integrator, in-house engineer, or in sales.
3+ years of experience in technical positions in complex IT environments.
Hands-on expertise in Java, PHP, Python, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
Expertise in commerce search and discovery, including analytics-driven A/B testing.
Hands-on technical fluency with REST APIs and knowledge of performance and integration trade-offs.
API-first and data-focused solutioning experience.
Strong understanding of AI, ML, and GenAI concepts in digital commerce.
Experience with leading e-commerce platforms like Shopify or Salesforce Commerce Cloud is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
