Responsibilities

Identify and address key gaps in Databricks' infrastructure and services to enhance customer safety.
Attract and recruit top talent in the field of data security.
Represent the security engineering discipline within the organization.
Engage with industry and academic communities at conferences and events.

9+ years of experience in Data Security or related areas with expertise in multiple security domains.
15+ years of experience in building large-scale distributed systems with high availability.
Proven leadership skills to lead cross-functional teams.
Strong communication skills to advocate for data security to senior leadership.
A bias to action and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.
MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related fields.
