Base Salary
$220k - $297k/yr
Responsibilities
- Identify and address key security gaps in Databricks' infrastructure and services.
- Define the vision and strategy for privacy and data security.
- Attract top security engineering talent from across the industry.
- Represent the security engineering discipline throughout the organization and promote data-driven decision-making.
- Represent Databricks at academic and industry conferences and events.
Requirements
- At least 9 years of experience in data security or related areas, including expertise in at least two listed security domains.
- At least 15 years of experience building large-scale distributed systems with high availability.
- Experience leading across functional and organizational lines.
- Strong communication skills for explaining and evangelizing data security to senior company leaders.
- A bias toward action and passion for delivering high-quality solutions.
- An MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience building systems at large-scale internet companies is highly preferred.
