Responsibilities
- Design and implement AAA quality camera, control, and character behaviors.
- Own the implementation of character traversal and game system components from conception to production.
- Guide animators through the game engine's animation system.
- Deliver innovative game experiences aligned with an experimental approach.
- Provide critical input on design and development in the R&D project.
- Contribute to the technical culture of the team, balancing speed and sustainability.
- Foster a collaborative environment for knowledge sharing.
- Mentor peers across disciplines in technical and creative problem-solving.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience in software engineering within the games industry.
- Experience in traversal, camera control, or similar systems in AAA quality products.
- Engagement with designers and creatives to ensure satisfying gameplay.
- Proficiency in C++ and animation systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
