Base Salary
$223k - $279k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product and Infrastructure teams on secure platform and infrastructure implementation, system design, security reviews, and continuous infrastructure improvement.
- Define and build infrastructure and application guardrails so developers can build securely by default.
- Mature Headway’s AWS cloud security posture through configuration standards, hardening, and vulnerability remediation.
- Assist with incident response, vulnerability management, security reviews, and other security operations.
- Promote secure system design and help improve the efficiency and scalability of security systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in security and/or software engineering roles, with demonstrated security-related project work or security generalist responsibilities.
- Deep technical experience building secure platforms and products, including security design and code reviews.
- Strong cross-functional partnership skills and the ability to work effectively with engineering teams.
- Interest in applying AI to infrastructure security and implementing security and privacy technologies at scale.
- Ability to tackle ambiguous problems and drive measurable results in a fast-paced environment.
