Base Salary
$139k - $191k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and champion maintainable architectures for command, control, and data analysis applications.
- Develop and maintain automation and support applications for GPS receiver production and testing.
- Lead projects from conceptualization and proposals through design validation and manufacturing launch.
- Partner with systems, hardware, and software teams to translate requirements into high-performance implementations.
- Ensure applications meet documentation and process-quality standards while addressing manufacturing and engineering challenges.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience building PC desktop applications using Visual Studio .NET and C++ or C# and Python 3.x.
- Expertise in requirements-driven Modular Structured Software architecture and design concepts.
- Experience with configuration management tools, processes, software build and release systems, relational databases, and GUI development.
- Experience in product test automation, device driver development, hardware verification, or a similar field.
- Familiarity with CMMI, DO-178, Waterfall, Iterative Spiral, or Agile development processes is preferred.
- Experience with Visual Basic is preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship is required for the clearance process.
