Responsibilities
- Build and improve frontend and backend web technologies for Qualia’s core applications.
- Develop software integrations, payment-processing systems, and other product features.
- Take full responsibility for complex projects and make research-backed architectural decisions.
- Resolve production issues and support less experienced developers through mentoring.
- Adapt responsibilities to company needs, skills, and interests as a generalist engineer.
Requirements
- Have 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Be a strong full-stack web developer.
- Have made key architectural decisions for large projects.
- Have mentored junior developers.
- Have worked on multiple engineering teams, including both small and large teams.
- Demonstrate product sense, attention to detail, and passion for software impact.
