Base Salary
$207k - $259k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end execution of technical projects from ideation and design through deployment.
- Design and build resilient, large-scale systems focused on reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Write high-quality, well-tested code and review code from other engineers.
- Provide technical leadership and guide peers through complex architectural and coding decisions.
- Champion engineering best practices and technical excellence across the organization.
- Lead strategic technical initiatives affecting multiple engineering pods and delivering organization-wide improvements.
- Mentor and guide engineers.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining large-scale, production-level systems.
- Experience as a Technical Lead or in a similar leadership capacity.
- Expertise in cloud architecture, distributed systems, and algorithms, with exceptional coding skills.
- Ability to independently lead requirements gathering, system design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Track record of mentoring and guiding engineers.
- Ability to build systems and processes from scratch.
- Deep interest in modern development practices and crypto technology.
- Preferred: experience with time-series monitoring and observability systems.
- Preferred: knowledge of TypeScript, Go, GraphQL, and AWS.
- Preferred: degree in Computer Science or a related field.
