Base Salary

$185k - $225k/yr

Responsibilities

Lead technical and strategic initiatives to improve testing coverage across Cribl’s product suite.
Perform meta-analysis on customer-reported issues to identify systemic risks.
Inspect product code and telemetry data to identify high-risk functionality.
Partner with various teams for root cause analysis and long-term quality improvements.
Design and evolve test frameworks and tooling to meet scaling needs.
Define and drive multi-phase roadmaps for testing environment enhancements.
Mentor other SDETs and engineers in advanced test design and debugging practices.
May require occasional stand-by or on-call duties outside of normal business hours.

8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or SDET, with a Computer Science degree or equivalent experience.
Proven expertise in analyzing complex systems and designing test strategies for distributed architectures.
Hands-on experience with cloud and container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
Strong proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Go, or Java.
Experience creating and scaling test frameworks and automation systems.
Strong analytical mindset to use customer data and logs for risk identification.
Demonstrated success in driving cross-functional quality initiatives.
Familiarity with data-intensive systems or stream processing environments is a plus.
Excellent communication skills for articulating technical findings.
Proven ability to lead through influence and mentor peers.
