Base Salary
$147k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write product or system development code.
- Build scalable developer tools and infrastructure that help engineering teams develop, test, debug, and release software.
- Automate quality tracking, build daily tooling, ensure interoperability with partner teams, and maintain customer relationships.
- Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders.
- Review code and provide feedback on style, accuracy, testability, efficiency, and best practices.
- Contribute to and update documentation or educational content.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing impacts on hardware, networks, services, and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least two years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
- At least two years of experience building developer tools, such as compilers, automated releases, code design and testing, or test automation frameworks.
- One year of software development experience may substitute for the two-year requirement with an advanced degree.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: two years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
- Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies.
Benefits
- US base salary of $147000 - $210000, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
