Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software components for manufacturing applications and processes.
- Implement features and data requests while maintaining existing software.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code following team standards.
- Participate in code reviews and help investigate and resolve bugs or performance issues.
- Improve documentation, testing, and development workflows.
- Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and users to understand requirements and deliver reliable solutions.
- Provide hands-on support for software reliability, performance, production, new product introduction, and return/repair processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 1–2 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency with at least one programming language such as C#, Python, or Java.
- Experience with database query design, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and collaborative development practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Preferred: familiarity with server, networking, and cloud hardware infrastructure.
- Preferred: experience building automated testing, embedded software, web applications, or mobile/desktop applications.
- Preferred: experience integrating third-party APIs.
- Preferred: familiarity with VB, ASP.NET, Blazor, WPF, and MAUI.
