Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design robust native Android applications using Kotlin, RxJava, Coroutines, and Jetpack Compose.
- Define modular architecture across presentation, domain, and data layers with strong separation of concerns, testability, and maintainability.
- Drive asynchronous and reactive development patterns and optimize startup time, memory, networking, rendering, data access, and caching.
- Implement and review mobile security controls covering secure storage, encryption, authentication, and common mobile threats.
- Establish unit, instrumentation, and UI testing strategies and integrate them into continuous integration pipelines.
- Collaborate with product, design, backend engineering, and delivery teams to translate requirements into scalable Android solutions.
- Guide Android Jetpack usage for navigation, lifecycle management, dependency injection, and data persistence.
- Shape Play Store distribution, build variants, feature flags, and phased rollout strategies.
- Embed accessibility practices into Compose components, layouts, and interactions.
- Lead debugging of production issues using profiling tools, logs, and crash analytics, and document architectural decisions and coding standards.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience developing Android mobile applications in a global organization.
- At least two years of experience in mobile architecture or technical design leadership.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin, RxJava, Coroutines, and Jetpack Compose.
- Deep understanding of clean architecture, modular application design, and Android Jetpack libraries.
- Experience with Android security, performance optimization, accessibility, and automated testing.
- Experience with Play Store configuration, build variants, feature flags, and phased releases.
- Strong troubleshooting skills using profiling, logging, and crash analytics tools.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across product, design, backend engineering, and delivery teams.
