Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Prototype and deploy AI-powered features for search, recommendations, workflow automation, and analytics across the Censys Platform.
- Apply machine learning and develop or fine-tune LLMs and RAG pipelines over internet-scale data.
- Build and maintain scalable AI-driven systems that summarize findings and deliver context-aware insights.
- Collaborate with frontend, product, and data engineering teams to integrate secure, intuitive AI-native platform experiences.
- Evaluate and improve model performance using RAGAS, LangSmith, and automated regression testing frameworks.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years building and scaling AI-powered user-facing features.
- Strong proficiency in Python for backend and API services development.
- Familiarity with RAG evaluation frameworks such as RAGAS and LangSmith, plus LLM pipeline regression testing.
- Knowledge of prompt engineering, secure and responsible AI practices, guardrails, and safety checks.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and AI application deployment practices.
- Advanced knowledge of AI/ML architectures, model evaluation, applied deep learning, RAG, vector search, LLM fine-tuning, embedding models, and AI-driven analytics.
- Experience optimizing AI models for low-latency real-time browser or frontend interactions and deploying secure AI systems in cybersecurity or other sensitive-data domains.
- Ability to prototype, validate, and refine AI features and collaborate effectively across teams.
