Responsibilities
- Gather business requirements and document process steps, decision points, exceptions, and expected outcomes for AI-enabled automation opportunities.
- Develop, test, and evaluate AI agents and automated workflows under the guidance of experienced team members.
- Connect approved data sources and develop workflow logic combining business rules with AI-generated recommendations or decisions.
- Support human-review, approval, validation, correction, escalation, and authorization steps in workflows.
- Configure automated actions in destination systems through APIs, integration services, or workflow tools.
- Test workflow outputs, decision paths, data validation, error handling, and exception scenarios, and document results.
- Monitor prototypes, identify issues and improvement opportunities, and help refine performance and reliability.
- Document solution designs, prompts, decision rules, integrations, test cases, operating procedures, and lessons learned.
- Stay current with artificial intelligence, agentic systems, workflow automation, and responsible AI practices.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in and working toward a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Strong interest in AI, automation, software development, and business-process improvement.
- Basic programming knowledge in Python or a similar language.
- Basic understanding of databases, SQL, APIs, JSON, or software integration concepts.
- Preferred familiarity with generative AI, large language models, prompt engineering, machine learning, or workflow automation through coursework, personal projects, or prior experience.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, written, spoken, and interpersonal skills, with attention to detail, prioritization, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
- Must be legally authorized to work full-time in the United States now and in the future without employer sponsorship for employment visa status.
