Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain embedded applications on Linux using CMake for cross-platform and cross-compilation builds.
- Design and integrate real-time applications and user-space components for MC-Gateway development on Linux and/or QNX.
- Implement and integrate communication protocols such as XCP.
- Handle JSON-based configuration and data exchange.
- Develop POSIX inter-process communication modules using named pipes, shared memory, and related mechanisms when required.
- Communicate directly with German and other international stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Typically 3–7 years of hands-on experience developing embedded applications on Linux; freshers with strong academic backgrounds and a passion for embedded systems are welcome to apply.
- Strong experience with CMake, including cross-platform and cross-compilation build environments.
- Experience implementing or integrating communication protocols, preferably XCP or similar protocols.
- Experience with JSON-based configuration and data exchange.
- Good English communication skills for working with international stakeholders, particularly German teams.
- Knowledge of Adaptive AUTOSAR, POSIX IPC, named pipes, shared memory, semaphores, modern C++, STL, concurrency, and Python scripting for automation, testing, or data processing is preferred.
