Base Salary
$207k - $385k/yr
Responsibilities
- Embed with strategic public sector customers as a technical thought partner.
- Ideate and directly develop novel full-stack applications on OpenAI’s platform.
- Create prototypes and contribute durable product features using Python and JavaScript.
- Advise customers on maximizing business impact and accelerating time to value.
- Manage relationships with customer leadership and stakeholders to support successful deployment and scaling.
- Collaborate with public sector teammates and cross-functional teams to improve the platform and exceed customer expectations.
Requirements
- Active U.S. security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one.
- At least five years of software engineering experience, with an emphasis on customer-facing roles.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and relevant technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud deployment models and infrastructure primitives including Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Ability to identify opportunities to maximize customer business value through the OpenAI API.
- Experience leading complex technical projects and programs with many stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
