Responsibilities
- Define Adaptive's ML strategy and infrastructure needs.
- Design and build end-to-end production ML systems.
- Establish evaluation methodologies for model quality.
- Own data strategy, including labeling and feedback loops.
- Integrate ML into products by writing production code.
- Build and lead the ML team as the function grows.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building ML systems in production.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with production-quality code.
- Experience with cloud ML infrastructure like AWS SageMaker.
- Familiarity with ML and data processing frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Comfortable working across the stack, including infrastructure and backend services.
- Proven track record of mentoring engineers with observable improvements.
