Base Salary
$100k - $115k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, debug, and deploy new software and enhancements to existing software.
- Build and maintain backend and application software using languages such as Java, JavaScript, Go, Python, TypeScript, or .NET.
- Implement desktop design, software integration, security lockdowns, automated patching and deployment, documentation, and user training.
- Automate application and configuration deployments and updates across on-premises and cloud-based environments.
- Work with technical staff to resolve software problems and respond to customer complaints, suggestions, and enhancement requests.
- Contribute to software deliverables, performance metrics, methodologies, and solutions for complex assignments.
- Follow applicable safety, quality, environmental, operational, and customer-contract requirements.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of collective experience developing, testing, and deploying backend software and Java software using current Java Development Kit versions.
- Bachelor's degree in information systems engineering, computer science, engineering, business, or a related field; additional experience may substitute for the degree.
- Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Experience or knowledge of backend frameworks, software development lifecycle processes, Agile development, design patterns and antipatterns, development tools, and integrated development environments.
- Preferred frontend experience includes JavaScript ES6+, React, NextJS, Tailwind CSS, Material UI, RESTful design, and code-quality practices.
- Preferred backend experience includes NodeJS, Express, NestJS, npm, Go, Java 8, SOAP services, Maven, and Gradle.
- Preferred development and project tools include Git, Jira, SonarQube or GitLab SAST, Jest, Mocha, Chai, SAFe Agile principles, and Confluence.
- Ability to complete required drug screening, including possible pre-hire screening for marijuana and other federally controlled substances.
