Base Salary
$37k - $82k/yr
Responsibilities
- Complete one or two challenging software projects during the summer internship.
- Develop or contribute to airborne embedded software.
- Build projects such as software download tools, pressure-voltage simulators for hardware-in-the-loop testing, or automation tools for test stations.
- Participate in team meetings, technical discussions, project reviews, and engineering work as an integrated team member.
- Develop operational concepts and use cases.
- Drive assigned projects to completion while producing high-quality work.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in a STEM field and remain actively enrolled through the internship session.
- Must have at least 60 credit hours by the start of the internship/co-op session.
- Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
- Preferred: prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required because access to certain necessary systems is restricted to U.S. citizens.
- Understanding of embedded or bare-metal software development, full V-model development, and reading hardware schematics is regularly used by the team.
