Responsibilities
- Build and support the strategic Order Management System, pricing, front-to-back booking, and lifecycle platforms.
- Design and implement high-quality backend solutions and contribute to implementation and architecture decisions.
- Deliver work end to end across requirements analysis, development, testing, automation, deployment, and support.
- Partner with Sales and Trading desks and internal Technology teams across a global development organization.
- Participate in DevOps activities and production support through a rota while improving automation.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on backend development experience with Java or Kotlin.
- Experience building large-scale, complex systems involving concurrent processing.
- Strong knowledge of design principles, software development lifecycle, automation, quality, and delivery practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a complex global environment.
- Experience engaging directly with Sales and Trading desks and internal Technology teams.
- Financial-industry development experience with trading systems.
- Preferred: AI-assisted development experience with Copilot or Claude Code.
- Preferred: Equity Derivatives and Structured Products knowledge across trade capture, pricing, booking, and lifecycle management.
- Preferred: GCP or AWS cloud exposure, MongoDB, Oracle, PostgreSQL, web services, and event-driven architecture experience.
