Responsibilities
- Design and execute tests for backend systems, including APIs and databases.
- Validate API functionality and performance using tools like Postman or Swagger.
- Test and verify database operations and data integrity using PostgreSQL.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to review pull requests for code quality.
- Support the development and maintenance of automated tests for backend services.
- Participate in reviewing backend infrastructure for reliability and performance issues.
- Document and track defects and test results using test management tools.
Requirements
- Approximately 2-3 years of experience in backend technologies or testing roles.
- Experience with Node.js and TypeScript in backend environments.
- Familiarity with SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
- Experience testing REST APIs using tools like Postman or Swagger.
- Understanding of backend testing practices, including API and database testing.
- Familiarity with test management tools such as TestRail is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
