Base Salary

$169k - $195k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain hardware-in-the-loop test systems and automated fixtures for embedded firmware and hardware.
  • Build reusable Python automation for component, integration, regression, and fault-injection testing.
  • Create and maintain manufacturing tools for device programming, provisioning, configuration, calibration, and diagnostics.
  • Integrate embedded tests and hardware test stations into CI/CD workflows.
  • Collaborate with embedded software, electrical, systems, manufacturing, and quality teams to automate tasks and collect data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field and at least five years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Strong Python software-development skills and experience creating maintainable automation frameworks, test tools, or manufacturing utilities.
  • Experience automating hardware/software or electromechanical systems using test fixtures, laboratory equipment, or hardware-in-the-loop environments.
  • Experience with Linux, Git, automated test frameworks such as pytest, and CI/CD systems.
  • Experience with containers and build automation is a plus.
  • Experience with C or C++, embedded systems, and CAN, UART, or Ethernet communication interfaces is preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing, medical devices, or another regulated or safety-critical environment is a plus.
