Responsibilities
- Lead systemization for next-generation Radio Access Network products by defining requirements, driving feature development, and aligning technical roadmaps.
- Design, optimize, and validate physical-layer and radio resource management algorithms for digital signal processing, MIMO, and beamforming.
- Conduct link-level and network-level system studies for 5G/6G wireless network performance and efficiency.
- Develop and refine software simulations and tools to evaluate designs and guide product decisions.
- Collaborate with global engineering, product, standards, and cross-functional teams on system integration and feature delivery.
- Influence 5G/6G standards, represent technical direction in forums, and mentor teammates.
- Deliver systemization artifacts including requirements and architectures.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of wireless systems engineering experience focused on 5G/6G and RAN systemization.
- Deep expertise in communications theory, digital signal processing, MIMO, and beamforming.
- Strong experience with link-level and network-level simulation environments and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver system-level improvements affecting product KPIs.
- Leadership, mentorship, analytical, problem-solving, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
- Proficiency in one or more of Java, MATLAB, C, C++, and Python.
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a closely related discipline.
- Agile or Lean product development experience and strong interpersonal skills are nice-to-have qualifications.
