Base Salary
$74k - $105k/yr
Responsibilities
- Integrate and verify embedded avionics software for engine and flight control systems.
- Develop software in C or customer-based scripts and execute it in laboratory simulation environments.
- Develop formal requirements-based test procedures and test cases.
- Perform requirements reviews, simulation testing, software integration, and system-level testing.
- Use emulators and debuggers to control and debug systems at low operational levels.
- Document requirements, test procedures, and results in a configuration management system and trace them through DOORS for DO-178C compliance.
- Conduct hardware/software debugging and collaborate with suppliers, clients, and colleagues in team and teleconference settings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 3+ years of related experience.
- Experience with C, Linux shell scripts, or similar software test scripts.
- Experience developing formal requirements, software test cases, and test procedures.
- Experience with hardware/software debugging involving embedded control systems.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative team environments.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
