Base Salary
$120k - $141k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support cloud infrastructure across AWS and/or Azure.
- Develop and optimize infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and configuration management tools.
- Create Python automation and operational tooling to improve platform efficiency and reliability.
- Implement policy-as-code, compliance validation, governance controls, and compliance automation using Checkov.
- Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, platform, and production issues using Well-Architected Framework practices.
- Drive platform reliability, operational excellence, documentation standards, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and platform teams to deliver scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Five to six years of relevant experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS or Azure, including compute, storage, networking, and cloud platform services.
- Advanced expertise with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning, automation, and lifecycle management.
- Proficiency in Python scripting and automation for cloud operations and platform engineering.
- Experience with an additional infrastructure-as-code or configuration tool such as Ansible, CloudFormation, Pulumi, Bicep, ARM, Chef, or Puppet.
- Hands-on experience with Checkov, policy-as-code, governance controls, and compliance automation.
- Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines in GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, incident response, and root cause analysis skills.
- Knowledge of Well-Architected principles, security best practices, observability platforms such as Datadog, cost optimization, and multi-environment deployment strategies.
