Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and services supporting trading, operational, and risk-related processes.
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
- Apply modern software engineering practices involving cloud platforms, APIs, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and data-driven applications.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical colleagues to deliver reliable, scalable, and maintainable software.
- Build technical expertise while gaining knowledge of European energy markets and their supporting systems.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional software development experience, ideally with Java and the Spring ecosystem.
- A completed degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical software development experience.
- Understanding of object-oriented design, APIs, application integration, and modern software engineering practices.
- Experience contributing to the full software development lifecycle in a collaborative team environment.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, container technologies, and relational databases.
- Experience with TypeScript and frontend technologies such as Angular is beneficial but not required.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and learning skills, with the ability to work in English in an international, cross-functional environment.
