Responsibilities
- Become expert in operating the FAAD system and connecting it to sensors, weapons, and Army tactical interfaces.
- Develop and execute system test threads and software test procedures for new functionality and requirements verification.
- Analyze interface and functionality problems and work with software teams to correct or improve capabilities.
- Document system problems and improvements verbally and in writing.
- Support mission assurance, government test witnessing, and integration and test events with other systems worldwide.
- Verify successful integration of the FAAD system with interfacing systems and prepare technical presentations for management and government customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM for the Associate Systems Engineer level.
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM plus 2 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 0 years of experience, for the Systems Engineer level.
- Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of the degree.
- Experience integrating and testing software and creating test scenarios to test functionality and verify requirements.
- Ability to follow detailed test procedures, multitask, and manage time effectively.
- Must hold or be able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include Red Hat Enterprise Linux experience, mathematics and statistics aptitude, ability to interpret system-level requirements, public-speaking experience, and experience working with technical, programmatic, and user communities.
