Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, operate, test, and maintain high-scale conversational AI applications, virtual agents, interactive assistants, serverless fulfillment webhooks, microservices, and backend APIs.
- Build, maintain, and automate Jenkins pipelines for building, testing, and deploying virtual-agent configurations and fulfillment services.
- Develop scalable pipelines for conversational data, telemetry, analytics, and knowledge-store integrations, including RAG patterns.
- Integrate conversational interfaces with enterprise databases, CRMs, and internal systems.
- Triage system issues, debug production code, and resolve performance bottlenecks across webhooks and service integrations.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables within a collaborative engineering environment.
- Collaborate with architects, SRE leads, and technical leadership on technical direction, guidelines, and engineering best practices.
- Facilitate adoption of enterprise tools for automated deployment pipeline delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience building scalable, cloud-native solutions.
- At least 2 years of experience designing, building, and deploying conversational AI solutions using enterprise platforms such as IVR, Dialogflow, Genesys, NICE inContact, AWS Lex, or custom LLM frameworks.
- At least 3 years of experience writing, debugging, and troubleshooting production code in Python, Node.js/TypeScript, Java, or comparable mainstream languages.
- At least 3 years of experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure using serverless computing or containerized environments.
- Experience deploying and releasing software with Jenkins pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code such as Terraform.
- Experience designing and consuming REST/gRPC APIs, webhooks, and middleware integration patterns.
- Preferred experience with Google CCaaS, LangChain, LlamaIndex, agentic architectures, tool/function-calling, vector databases, and prompt engineering.
- Preferred advanced Jenkins expertise, automated test integration, and Helm Charts experience.
- Preferred cloud certification such as AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Architect, or Azure Solutions Architect.
- Preferred experience with voice channels, speech-to-text, text-to-speech, telephony platforms, Twilio, or Genesys.
- Preferred understanding of automated testing frameworks for conversational flows, webhooks, and REST APIs.
