Base Salary
$180k - $258k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build security protections and guardrails into systems to establish a secure-by-default posture.
- Partner with engineering teams on design reviews, threat modeling, and security validation for new features and services.
- Oversee compliance rituals and requirements related to HIPAA, SOC 2, SOC 1, PCI, and HITRUST.
- Audit platforms and the technology stack for vulnerabilities and ensure timely remediation.
- Coordinate penetration testing and other security services with third-party vendors.
- Review vendor security before integrating third-party services.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in the security domain with hands-on involvement in complex projects.
- Strong practical knowledge of security compliance processes and requirements.
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and experience working with sensitive information.
- Ability to address security challenges at both enterprise and client levels.
- Ability to write code to automate security activities.
- Ability to read, understand, and audit systems, networks, and IT environments.
