Base Salary
$186k - $286k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define the technical vision, long-term architecture, engineering roadmap, and technical direction for DNA Platforms.
- Lead solution design, architecture reviews, technical governance, and decision-making for complex multi-team initiatives.
- Design scalable, secure, resilient, and maintainable software platforms using distributed systems, APIs, and cloud-native architecture patterns.
- Guide platform modernization, platform engineering, automation, tooling, and CI/CD adoption.
- Establish standards and measurable practices for software quality, observability, performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.
- Manage, coach, and develop engineers and engineering managers through feedback, technical guidance, and performance conversations.
- Lead technical forums, design reviews, and knowledge-sharing practices across geographically distributed teams.
- Travel occasionally, up to 10%.
Requirements
- 12+ years of software engineering experience, including architecture and delivery of large-scale enterprise platforms.
- 8+ years managing and developing teams in engineering, architecture, or platform technology functions.
- 10+ years designing distributed systems, APIs, cloud-native architectures, and modern software delivery practices.
- 8+ years applying security, reliability, performance, scalability, observability, and maintainability principles to production systems.
- Experience influencing engineering strategy, technical standards, and delivery decisions across multiple teams or organizational boundaries.
- Experience with DevSecOps, site reliability engineering practices, automation, tooling, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, related experience, and/or military experience.
- Preferred experience includes fintech, banking, payments, risk, fraud platforms, platform modernization, cloud adoption, developer productivity, AI-assisted development, engineering metrics, and geographically distributed engineering organizations.
Benefits
- Salary range is $186,000.00–$285,600.00 for employees in New Jersey and New York; ranges may differ in other states.
- Eligible associates may receive an annual incentive opportunity through cash bonus and equity awards.
- The role requires computer and audio equipment use.
- Occasional travel is required, up to 10%.
