Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements and operational processes into technical designs and enterprise application solutions.
- Develop, analyze, test, implement, and support full-stack applications using Python, Java, and related frameworks.
- Design horizontally scalable, highly available, highly resilient, and low-latency applications using cloud infrastructure and event-driven architecture.
- Provide subject-matter expertise and support for client queries, business users, senior stakeholders, and technology groups.
- Monitor development lifecycle activities and provide user and operational support after implementation.
- Recommend security measures based on post-implementation analysis and help ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
- Advise or coach new and lower-level programmers and operate with limited direct supervision.
- Help define operating standards and processes, assess risk, and support delivery across multiple projects and distributed teams.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience, including 2–3 years of Python and Java experience.
- Experience with software application systems analysis and programming, enterprise architecture, and large-scale high-volume environments.
- Strong experience with Python, Java, Spring, Maven, SQL, major relational database management systems, and full-stack development.
- Experience with horizontally scalable, highly available, highly resilient, and low-latency applications; event-driven design; and cloud infrastructure across on-premises and public-cloud environments.
- Experience with Spring Core, Spring Integration, Spring Batch, React, XML parsing and schemas, JSON, third-party libraries, and automated testing.
- Experience with Unix/Linux commands and basic scripting, Advanced REST Client or a similar tool, and development environments such as IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse.
- Working knowledge of consulting and project-management techniques, multiple technologies, design standards and frameworks, and application development processes.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects, meeting deadlines, handling changing requirements, and working with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, communicate effectively, learn new tools and technologies, and provide technical guidance to other programmers.
- Bachelor's or university degree, or equivalent experience.
