Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support integrations between IFS Cloud or IFS Applications and external enterprise applications.
- Develop and configure integrations using IFS Connect, REST APIs, OData, Application Messages, Events, and middleware platforms.
- Develop and maintain IFS Projections and APIs for external system consumption.
- Configure Custom Events and Actions, Routing Rules, and Workflow Designs in IFS Cloud.
- Use Developer Studio and API Explorer for IFS Cloud development, customization, testing, and validation.
- Implement message transformation, routing, validation, error handling, retry mechanisms, monitoring, and secure API integrations.
- Develop and troubleshoot PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and SQL queries using Oracle Database.
- Prepare technical designs, interface specifications, data mappings, and integration architecture documents.
- Support SIT, UAT, deployment, production support, and integration issue resolution.
- Provide technical leadership through code reviews, estimation, technical planning, and mentoring of integration developers.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, business stakeholders, middleware teams, and external application teams.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience is required.
- 7–12+ years of overall IT experience, including 4–8+ years of hands-on experience with IFS and enterprise integration.
- Strong hands-on expertise in IFS Cloud, IFS Applications, IFS Connect, APIs, middleware, databases, and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with REST APIs, OData, JSON, XML, OAuth2, API security, and synchronous and asynchronous integrations.
- Experience with Oracle Database, PL/SQL, SQL, and database troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of IFS Cloud lifecycle and deployment concepts, integration architecture, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience integrating IFS Cloud with SAP/S4HANA, MES, EAM/APM, manufacturing systems, data platforms, or other enterprise applications is preferred.
- Relevant IFS certifications or technical training are advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder-management, and independent ownership skills.
