Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage enterprise security solutions protecting Braze users, employees, assets, infrastructure, and work locations.
- Build, maintain, document, and scale security infrastructure across cloud operations, product, application security, and system architecture.
- Investigate malware, advanced threats, forensic events, security incidents, and vulnerabilities across endpoints, networks, and cloud environments.
- Expand SIEM capabilities by configuring detections, enhancing alerting, prioritizing ingestion, and maintaining system operability.
- Implement DLP, data classification, policy controls, security procedures, and automation for detection, reporting, and enforcement.
- Secure SaaS applications, email, Mac endpoints, IAM, SSO, MDM, password management, enterprise networking, and internal configurations.
- Conduct end-to-end security reviews of SaaS applications, including data flows, architecture, authentication, authorization, and contractual security requirements.
- Make recommendations on security tools, technology solutions, processes, production IT security support, and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with Security, Engineering, business units, and stakeholders on security initiatives, deployments, compliance, and incident escalations.
- Participate in on-call rotations, respond to critical incidents, serve as a technical authority, and mentor junior associates.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of security engineering experience focused on enterprise security, network security, and endpoint security.
- At least 3 years of hands-on technical, user-facing experience in a corporate security organization or environment.
- Prior experience serving as a technical authority within a team environment.
- Hands-on experience securing email, Mac endpoints, IAM, CrowdStrike EDR, enterprise networking security, and conducting forensics.
- Experience with modern technology stacks and protecting SaaS applications.
- Experience performing SaaS application security reviews, data flow analysis, technical architecture reviews, authentication and authorization control reviews, and contractual security assessments.
- Experience designing and continuously tuning forensic programs across endpoints, networks, and cloud environments, including policy development, incident triage, data classification alignment, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Cloud security experience is a bonus.
- AI security experience is a bonus.
- Advanced technical security certifications are a bonus.
- Strong communication, organizational, adaptability, and self-starting abilities.
