Base Salary
$181k - $217k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deploy, support, and maintain critical data storage systems on various scales.
- Develop statistics and dashboards to measure service-level objectives.
- Maintain and create tools for configuration management and access control.
- Write clear, maintainable code and contribute to code reviews.
- Lead full lifecycle projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Plan and scale projects for growth.
- Document processes for knowledge transfer.
- Mentor and support other engineers.
- Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
Requirements
- Significant experience building and maintaining backend systems, including APIs and datastores.
- Experience measuring performance with tools like Prometheus or DataDog.
- Proficient with Kubernetes and related technologies.
- Experience developing automation tools in Go and other languages.
- Strong Terraform skills, including working with modules and remote state.
- Good command-line skills for file systems and permissions.
- Collaborative mindset with experience in cross-functional teams.
