Responsibilities
- Design and implement automation solutions that reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code templates for consistent network configurations.
- Build and maintain reusable automation frameworks and self-service capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into scalable automated processes.
- Oversee automation projects through conception, deployment, and ongoing lifecycle management.
- Conduct pre-release, post-release, and QA testing to ensure reliability and coding-standard compliance.
- Document automation processes and maintain version control for reproducible infrastructure.
- Research emerging technologies to improve automation and AI capabilities.
Requirements
- Demonstrated senior-level experience combining infrastructure and network engineering with software development.
- Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL for automated processes, APIs, and supporting tooling.
- Expertise in TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewall configurations, content delivery technologies, load balancing, caching, and cloud-based services.
- Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with Ansible, Jenkins, and Git.
- Proven ability to manage change and version control systems.
- Ability to provide technical leadership, collaborate across teams, and drive complex automation initiatives.
