Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using React.js and Python and/or Node.js.
- Build scalable backend services and APIs and integrate them with AWS infrastructure.
- Develop reusable, responsive React.js components and follow frontend architecture best practices.
- Design and integrate RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services.
- Implement real-time functionality using WebSockets where required.
- Contribute to code reviews, testing strategies, and technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance across frontend and backend systems.
- Stay current with modern web development, Python, Node.js, React.js, and cloud technologies.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development; the role overview also states 10+ years of experience.
- Strong backend development expertise using Python and/or Node.js.
- Hands-on frontend experience with React.js and responsive, component-based user interface development.
- Understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and responsive design.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
- Practical exposure to AWS services including Lambda, Amplify, API Gateway, and RDS/MySQL.
- Understanding of microservices, serverless architectures, and event-driven systems.
- Experience with WebSockets and real-time communication.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and version control systems.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred exposure to Docker, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
- Preferred experience with Agile/Scrum tools such as Jira or Confluence.
- Basic experience mentoring junior engineers.
