Base Salary
$193k - $262k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and assess RL Gyms for frontier model advancement.
- Build techniques that advance the state of the art with large language models.
- Support foundational model development in an applied research setting.
- Leverage heterogeneous data sources and large-scale computing resources to advance LLMs.
- Design and lead architecture for reliable, scalable new and existing systems.
- Mentor engineers or lead technical and engineering teams.
- Participate in software development lifecycle activities including coding standards, code reviews, source control, builds, testing, and operations.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- At least 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team lead.
- Preferred: at least 5 years of full software development lifecycle experience.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

- Base salary range of $193,300.00–$261,500.00 annually, plus sign-on payments and restricted stock units.
