Base Salary
$150k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and functional test cases from functional specifications.
- Find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution.
- Execute test cases, analyze results, and report findings to product teams.
- Automate test cases and build and maintain test infrastructure for automation setups.
- Support cross-functional integrated testing efforts and report project status and issues to management.
- Debug defect root causes and optimize test automation scripts.
- Collaborate with development teams to analyze, debug, and resolve issues.
- Define complex test cases covering multiple features and creative bug-finding scenarios.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of relevant experience writing and executing wireless QA test plans.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance processes, detailed test planning, failure documentation, and problem isolation.
- Experience with Linux, UNIX, or Windows operating systems.
- Experience with networking and Wi-Fi technologies, including 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax knowledge.
- Experience with a scripting language; Python is preferred.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with wireless test tools and analyzers such as Ixia Veriwave, Chariot, Omnipeek, and AirPcap is preferred.
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience; an advanced degree is a plus.
