Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Evaluate customer data center environments and infrastructure technologies with account teams.
- Design and propose tailored infrastructure solutions that align with customer business objectives and budgets.
- Build and maintain technical relationships with OEMs and strategic partners.
- Provide product training and technical education to sales teams and customers.
- Act as a trusted IT advisor and partner with Field Account Executives.
- Manage the solution-practice pipeline, develop strategies for top prospects, and acquire new business.
- Identify technology opportunities across data center, cloud, network, security, collaboration, and services areas.
- Engage CIOs, IT Directors, CTOs, and other client stakeholders in comprehensive account management.
- Educate sales teams on technical selling, products, services, and technology trends.
- Travel to SHI, partner, and customer events.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience required.
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience with complex data center sales opportunities.
- Ability to design data center infrastructures involving hybrid cloud, hyperconverged infrastructure, software-defined data centers, infrastructure/platform as a service, automation, containerization, and data center management platforms.
- Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies, hypervisors, server virtualization, software-defined data centers, containerization, and automation.
- Ability to communicate and sell complex technical products or services by understanding customer needs and articulating value propositions.
- Expertise with Dell Technologies, NetApp, HPE, Cisco, Pure Storage, Azure, AWS, Veeam, and Nutanix.
- Experience with disaster recovery, business continuity, high availability, backup and recovery, data protection, mirroring, active/standby, active/active, and clustering solutions.
- Advanced certification in one or more of Dell Technologies, Cisco, VMware, NetApp, Pure Storage, HPE, Azure, AWS, Commvault, Rubrik, Cohesity, Veeam, and Nutanix is preferred.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, communication, organization, follow-up, problem-solving, relationship-building, documentation, and results-orientation skills.
