Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain DRW’s globally deployed low-latency trading platform.
- Work on order routing, market data, and risk systems across the technical stack.
- Develop and troubleshoot high-availability, multithreaded C++ systems under tight resource and latency constraints.
- Perform performance tuning and low-level troubleshooting across applications, Linux, and socket I/O.
- Collaborate with Research teams and Quants where relevant.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience developing high-availability systems in C++ with tight resource and latency constraints.
- Background in multithreaded programming and a strong understanding of hardware/software interaction.
- Strong performance-tuning and troubleshooting skills, including applications and Linux.
- Experience with C++ libraries including STL and Boost.
- Current knowledge of C++23 standards.
- Experience with challenging projects such as custom compilers, matching engines, or large-scale real-time data processing.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Trading, ultra-low-latency, Research/Quant, gaming, or streaming experience is preferred.
