Responsibilities
- Develop tools and processes to improve DevOps or DevSecOps maturity through automated builds, regression testing, monitoring, and release promotion across environments.
- Troubleshoot, triage, and resolve CI/CD pipeline failures and performance issues.
- Design and implement AWS cloud hosting, backup, recovery, and failover-zone solutions.
- Develop and improve continuous deployment tools built on Kubernetes.
- Create automation and infrastructure solutions using Terraform, Terragrunt, Pulumi, and related tools.
- Work with application development teams throughout the software development life cycle to solve complex problems.
- Manage and maintain Elasticsearch and Kibana environments.
- Champion adoption of DevOps processes, tools, and roles across other organizations and development teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience developing tools and processes for DevOps or DevSecOps automation.
- At least 5 years of experience troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness.
- Experience with Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Helm, Prometheus, Grafana, and Python or Golang.
- Experience developing enterprise cloud-native solutions and hosting applications on commercial cloud providers.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitLab runners, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Terragrunt, and Pulumi.
- Experience collaborating with application development teams across the software development life cycle.
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph, or willingness to take a CI polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering.
- Preferred experience includes Elasticsearch and Kibana, multi-stack automation, Kubernetes continuous deployment tools, public-cloud troubleshooting, and leading DevOps adoption.
- A master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field is preferred.
