Base Salary

$146k - $218k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop CAD tools, flows, methodologies, and infrastructure solutions for VLSI design and emulation.
  • Develop emulation CAD algorithms for synthesis, partitioning, place and route, and clock optimization.
  • Drive compute and storage optimization.
  • Develop CAD software using software design principles, practices, and patterns.
  • Work with RTL synthesis, clock tree optimization, VLSI design concepts, and logic design.
  • Mentor and lead other team members.
  • Create customer-facing applications and work independently on complex engineering problems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 3+ years, or a PhD with 2+ years.
  • Preferred qualifications include a master’s or PhD in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  • At least 2 years of ASIC design, FPGA design, verification, or related experience is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of C++ software development or CAD tool development experience is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on Linux experience and direct CAD software development experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, RTL synthesis, clock tree optimization, VLSI design concepts, and logic design.
  • Experience with Git, LSF, JIRA, GCC, and related technologies.
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills and the ability to work independently are preferred.
