Responsibilities

  • Triage and validate vulnerabilities from security and exposure-management tooling.
  • Prioritize findings based on severity, exploitability, asset criticality, and business context.
  • Automate routing, ticketing, deduplication, and escalation workflows in Seemplicity.
  • Verify remediation through rescanning or manual checks before closing findings.
  • Partner with engineering and IT teams to explain findings and recommend practical fixes.
  • Build reports and dashboards covering vulnerability posture, remediation progress, SLA adherence, and trends.
  • Design nudging strategies to improve remediation behavior and reduce time-to-remediate.
  • Monitor ageing findings, stalled remediation items, systemic blockers, SLAs, taxonomies, and tooling configuration.
  • Facilitate risk acceptance and exception management, including documentation, approval, tracking, and review.

Requirements

  • Hands-on vulnerability management or similar analytical security experience, preferably in a fast-moving cloud-native environment.
  • Familiarity with Wiz, Semgrep, CrowdStrike, EASM platforms, comparable scanners, or similar vulnerability and exposure tooling.
  • Understanding of CVSS, EPSS, CISA KEV exploitability, asset context, and risk-based prioritization.
  • Experience with or strong interest in workflow automation and orchestration using platforms, scripting, or security-ticketing integrations.
  • Ability to build reports and dashboards that turn complex security data into clear narratives.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills for working with engineers, IT teams, and senior leaders.
  • Pragmatic, delivery-focused approach centered on reducing risk and getting vulnerabilities fixed.
  • Experience in fintech, regulated financial services, or another high-assurance environment is strongly preferred.
