Base Salary
$139k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead an engineering team while contributing hands-on to complex software design, development, analysis, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Own technical decisions, system design, delivery cost, technical feasibility, technical debt, and cross-team integration contracts.
- Partner with product ownership to define outcomes, discuss scope and priorities, and balance delivery, debt, and enabler work.
- Mentor engineers through pairing, code reviews, design reviews, feedback, and deliberate delegation.
- Ensure production readiness, monitor system health, maintain operational artifacts, and contribute to broader engineering standards.
Requirements
- Five or more years of progressive software engineering experience, including technical leadership of team efforts.
- Six additional years of software engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related STEM field, or equivalent education and/or work experience.
- Advanced software delivery, system design, automated testing, production readiness, and system monitoring skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage technical debt, own integration contracts, solve ambiguous problems, communicate technical concepts to business partners, and develop engineers.
