Base Salary
$164k - $282k/yr
Responsibilities
- Engineer robust AI harness solutions for the Search AI Product Engineering team.
- Develop and launch AI-driven experiences for Coupang’s search and discovery platforms.
- Develop and maintain high-quality, robust, fluent, and fast iOS search components.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams on end-to-end user experiences.
- Build and iterate on innovative, consumer-facing mobile products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, statistics, or a closely related field.
- 6+ years of professional iOS development experience with deep Swift proficiency.
- Experience developing and scaling high-quality, large-scale consumer mobile applications.
- Hands-on experience engineering robust AI harness solutions.
- Experience with data analytics tools such as Presto or Jupyter.
- Ability to design, execute, and analyze complex A/B tests and experiments.
- Experience with iOS architecture, concurrency, persistence, and UI technologies including MVVM, Combine or async-await, Core Data, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
- Deep understanding of Android UI development and experience with Hilt and Room.
- Strong communication, product sense, ownership, independence, and ability to manage ambiguity.
- A master’s or PhD in a relevant technical field is preferred.
- iOS experience with Swift or Objective-C and Android and/or web development experience are preferred.
