Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk assessment, application development, and model development.
- Establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs for business or user-area needs.
- Monitor and control analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, and operational support activities.
- Analyze complex application-development problems and evaluate business, system, and industry processes.
- Recommend and develop post-implementation security measures and assess system functionality.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups; recommend programming solutions and provide user support.
- Define operating standards and processes, advise senior stakeholders, and coach new or lower-level analysts.
- Assess and manage risk while maintaining compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
- Working knowledge of consulting and project-management techniques and methods.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in requirements.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
