Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy production-grade GenAI systems for Saga.
- Build and maintain evaluation and testing harnesses for LLM output quality.
- Collaborate with platform and product teams to integrate AI capabilities into TyrOS.
- Participate in technical design discussions and code reviews.
- Triage and debug production issues to ensure reliability.
- Work closely with engineers, product managers, and military stakeholders.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong backend foundation.
- Hands-on experience building GenAI systems, including vector databases and LLM integration.
- Familiarity with tool routing and common LLM failure modes.
- Understanding of the science behind the systems built.
- Background at an AI-native company or transition from backend engineering to AI specialization.
- Strong sense of ownership and a bias for action.
